UGC NET JRF June 2023
Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2022/June-2023 would be conducted by NTA for determining the eligibility of Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and for determining eligibility for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology.
A candidate may apply either for ‘Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)’ OR ‘Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor’. He/she may indicate his/her preference in the Online Application, as the case may be. If a candidate applies for JRF and fulfils the laid down eligibility criteria for Lectureship/Assistant Professor also, such a candidate will be considered for both JRF & LS/Assistant Professor

NTA UGC NET June 2023 Age Limit:
JRF: Maximum 28 years as on 01/07/2022* {upper age limit may be relaxableupto5 years in case of SC/ST/Third gender/Persons with Disability (PwD) / female applicants and 03 years in case of OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) applicants}. *This age limit is applicable for the current examination cycle only.
· Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor: No upper age limit.
UGC NET 2023 Qualifications
M.Sc. or equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/ BS-4 years/ BE/ B. Tech/ B. Pharma/ MBBS with at least 55% (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS and 50% (without rounding off) for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates
Candidates enrolled for M.Sc. or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above qualifying examination as on the closing date of online submission of Application Form, areal so eligible to apply in the above subject under the Result Awaited (RA) category on the condition that they complete the qualifying degree with requisite percentage of marks within two years from the date of declaration of Joint CSIR-UGC NET Test result, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
B.Sc. (Hons.) or equivalent degree holders or students enrolled in Integrated MS-PhD program with at least 55%^ (without rounding off) marks for General (UR)/General-EWS; 50%^ (without rounding off) marks for OBC (NCL)/SC/ST, Third gender, Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates are also eligible to apply. Candidates with Bachelor’s degree will be eligible for CSIR fellowship only after getting registered/enrolled for Ph.D./Integrated Ph.D. program within the validity period of two years. Candidates possessing only Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply only for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and not for Lectureship (LS)/Assistant Professor. ^(without rounding off)
B.E./ B.S./ B.Tech./ B.Pharma/ MBBS final year/result awaited candidates areeligibleto apply for fellowship only. These candidates will not be eligibleforLectureship/Assistant professor. B.Sc. (Hons.) final year/Result awaited candidates are not eligible to apply

How to Fill Online Application of UGC NET June 2023
· Candidates can apply for Joint CSIR-UGC NET December-2022/June 2023 through “Online” mode only.
· Download Information Bulletin and read the same carefully regarding eligibility and procedure / documentation required for filling the Online Application Form.
· Follow the steps given below to Apply Online:
· Step-1: Register for Online Form submission using unique Email ID and Mobile No.
· Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No. Upload legible scanned images of: (i) a recent photograph(injpg file, size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80%face(without mask) visible including ears against white background; (ii) candidate’s signature (in jpg file size: 4kb – 30kb) (iii) Duly verified Result Awaited Attestation Form (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 500KB), (iv) Category Certificate, if applicable (SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS etc.) (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 300KB) & (v) PwD Certificate, if applicable (in PDF format file size: 50KB to 300KB).
· Step-3: Pay prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit CardandUPI, keep proof of fee paid for future reference
· Download, save and print copies of Confirmation Page after successful remittanceof feeand keep copies safely for future reference.
· PwD candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
