- Young Professional-I: Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc) / Bachelor of Science (Horticulture) / Bachelor of Science (Agriculture) / Bachelor of Science (Zoology) / Diploma holders in Fisheries Science.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s Degree in Agriculture / Veterinary Science / Fishery / Home Science with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.
